What's included
Our long wet season means a lot happens to a yard between visits if nobody's watching it. Spring cleanup clears out what winter left behind — leaf litter that didn't fully break down, storm debris, dead growth from perennials and ornamental grasses — and cuts back the edges along beds and walkways so the whole property looks intentional again heading into the growing season.
Fall cleanup is about getting ahead of the leaf drop before it becomes a problem, not chasing it after the fact. Wet leaves that mat down on the lawn block light and trap moisture against the grass, which in our climate can lead to fungal issues over winter. A proper fall cleanup clears beds and lawn areas, cuts back perennials that are done for the season, and leaves the yard ready for winter rain instead of buried under it.
Both visits typically include bed edging, blowing and hauling away debris, and a general tidy of anything the regular mowing visit doesn't cover.
